Pickwick SHM 3055.
This compilation originally came out in 1981 on the budget label Pickwick. It is actually quite a good compilation for its time. Choice album tracks and a few choice singles, but no live material and no b-sides. Roll Away The Stone is the single version (Mick Ralphs on guitar), as is One Of The Boys (much shorter than the album version and indeed UK b-side). Sweet Jane is the album version. Other than that, everything is present and correct. No rarities or surprises; at the time this will have fitted in to the "nice to have" category (rather than "essential") but now fits in to the "completist only" category. Sleeve-notes are so-so and written by someone with only a passing knowledge of the band. Interestingly, this is one of the few MTH compilations not subsequently released on CD.
