Mott The Hoople and Ian Hunter

Ian Hunter's 1997 UK Tour - Tunbridge Wells

Arrrived at the Assembley Rooms, grabbed a beer, walked out to discover Ian arriving onstage, no support.

Once Bitten, Who D'Ya Love, Boy, Angeline, Waterlow ( I didn't believe it either ), I Wish I Was Your Mother, F**kin' Up, Too Much, Something To Believe In, Resurrection Mary, 23A, Swan Hill, Roll Away The Stone, Memphis, Bastard, Just Another Night, Cleveland Rocks, Irene Wilde, Michael Picasso, Dudes and a snatch of Saturday Gigs ( and I'm not sure that I haven't forgotten something ).

Ian was relaxed, joking with the audience and appeared to be watching for reactions as some of the more unexpected tunes started.

Just one gripe, only around two hundred people attended.
